Graham Watches

Some claim George Graham to be "the world's finest ever watchmaker." The British navy of the early 1700's needed a standard for measuring time in order to calculate approximate distance — and avoid embarrassing disasters. The Royal Society (chaired by Isaac Newton) called on Graham who was known to work with "time machines."

Today, Graham watches are made in Switzerland, but are still heavily inspired by old English watchmaking. Specializing in chronographs, Graham makes quality watches in limited production. The firm also sponsors aspiring English students in Switzerland.
